Hello, I am a Blackboard victim….

It took some time to admit that I had been victimized. The type of abuse that you experience doesn’t leave scars or bruises. It can’t be examined or discovered the moment it happens, so it becomes hard to diagnose. There is a climatic build-up of fustration, tension, distress, that eventually leaves you feeling hopeless, powerless, and victimized.
Westernized coping mechanisms don’t prepare you for what happens next…

I am also a victim of blackboard.
I have found that psychic attacks are their first and second line offensive defensive maneuvers; it’s must be part of the training manual for their customer support.
As soon as you call you are hit with the automated attendant, who asks you a million questions before you can actually speak to someone. Then when you finally get through, it’s probably an outsourced call center, who really has no clue about what you are talking about. Where’s the cross training? I want to speak to a knowledgeable support rep! There’s nothing worse then paying for an expensive software product and not having a nurturing support system.
